Overview

Our Structural BIM service produces accurate, coordinated structural models in Revit Structure — covering reinforced concrete, structural steel, and precast elements across all project types.

We model from structural drawings, engineer's calculations, or existing models — producing a fully parametric 3D model that supports construction documentation, quantity takeoffs, and multi-discipline coordination.

Every structural model is coordinated against the architectural and MEP disciplines before documentation is issued, ensuring penetrations are correctly located, clearances are maintained, and there are no surprises on site.

Capabilities

Structural systems and elements we model.

Foundations & Substructure

Pad, strip, raft, and pile foundations, pile caps, ground beams, and retaining structures modelled with correct geometry and reinforcement data.

Concrete Frame

RC columns, beams, slabs, shear walls, and core walls modelled with correct section sizes, cover, and reinforcement families for documentation and QTO.

Steel Frame

Primary and secondary steel framing — columns, beams, bracing, purlins — with correct profiles, connections, and splice locations for coordination and fabrication.

Precast & Prefab

Precast concrete elements including panels, hollowcore slabs, staircases, and beams modelled with joint details and lifting provisions.

Rebar & Reinforcement

Rebar modelling for RC elements with bar schedules and bending details for GFC documentation and QTO extraction.

Structural Coordination

Coordination with architectural and MEP models — checking structural penetrations, service routes, and interfaces at all stages of the design.

Our Process

From structural drawings to a coordinated model.

01

Structural Drawings Review

We receive and review structural drawings, calculations, or an existing model to understand the full scope and identify any gaps before modelling begins.

02

Model Setup & Grids

Shared coordinates, grids, and levels are established and aligned with the architectural model to ensure disciplines are co-located from the start.

03

Structural Modelling

All structural elements are modelled in Revit Structure — concrete, steel, and precast — with correct parameters, materials, and analytical properties.

04

Coordination with Other Disciplines

Structural model is federated with architectural and MEP models. Penetrations, interfaces, and clashes are resolved iteratively.

05

Delivery & Documentation

Structural drawings are extracted and issued with schedules, a model compliance report, and files in RVT / IFC / DWG formats.
